Route
PendingThe routes are written. They are not yet mapped.
This entry's cultural layer already names where it came from and how it moved. What it does not yet carry is that movement as structure: ordered waypoints with real coordinates, and a mechanism on each leg. Until it does, the layer stays an empty slot rather than a drawn line, because a map built from prose would be a guess with a projection under it.

Rite
Lamb is the standard currency of sacrifice. It is the Passover offering whose blood marked the doorposts, the Eid al-Adha slaughter commemorating Ibrahim's ram, and the Agnus Dei, where Christianity turns the sacrificial animal into the sacrificed god. Three related religions organise their central festivals around the same young animal. When a meal is meant to cost something, this is what most of the Mediterranean and West Asia has reached for.
