Route

Pending

The routes are written. They are not yet mapped.

This entry's cultural layer already names where it came from and how it moved. What it does not yet carry is that movement as structure: ordered waypoints with real coordinates, and a mechanism on each leg. Until it does, the layer stays an empty slot rather than a drawn line, because a map built from prose would be a guess with a projection under it.

Rite

The egg is the most widely shared symbol of return in the northern hemisphere. It is the Christian resurrection, dyed red at Orthodox Easter; it is the sabzeh and the painted egg on the Persian haft-sin table at Nowruz; it is the roasted beitzah on the Passover seder plate, mourning and renewal in one object. Three religious calendars reach for the same closed shell to mean the same thing, which suggests the symbol is older than any of them.
