PendingThe routes are written. They are not yet mapped.
This entry's cultural layer already names where it came from and how it moved. What it does not yet carry is that movement as structure: ordered waypoints with real coordinates, and a mechanism on each leg. Until it does, the layer stays an empty slot rather than a drawn line, because a map built from prose would be a guess with a projection under it.

Sugared almonds are given in odd numbers so they cannot be divided. Five is the standard at Italian and Greek weddings, one each for health, wealth, happiness, fertility and long life, and the bitterness under the sugar is the point: the marriage will hold both. The almond is also the first tree to flower in the Levant, which made it the emblem of watchfulness and of hope arriving early. A wedding favour is a small argument about what marriage is.
