Route

Pending

The routes are written. They are not yet mapped.

This entry's cultural layer already names where it came from and how it moved. What it does not yet carry is that movement as structure: ordered waypoints with real coordinates, and a mechanism on each leg. Until it does, the layer stays an empty slot rather than a drawn line, because a map built from prose would be a guess with a projection under it.

Rite

The Easter hare lays the eggs, which makes no biological sense and considerable ritual sense: both are spring fertility signs, and the hare's open-eyed sleep and moonlit boxing made it a creature of resurrection and of witches at once. Fishermen in Britain would not say the word aboard a boat. The animal is lucky as a severed foot and unlucky as a whole living thing, which is a common arrangement for animals people both eat and fear.
